Ordered some one inch wheel spacers from Maximum Motorsport a few weeks ago and finally got them. They’re actually through H&R which was pretty cool to get, I imagine they shipped from H&R, probably why it took so long. Box is pretty cool, being German and whatnot.
Cool sticker as well, prominently displayed next to my Oppo sticker.

My service cart came with a “Go Wide” sticker already installed inside the lid. I don’t have any Oppo stickers, but I did put a Jalopnik sticker in there.

Ooh, nice!
BTW, how’s your caliper rebuild coming along?

I’m sure they just throw one in there for everything. You should definitely grab one next time somebody makes a batch, the clown shoe demands one.

Hopefully the wheels will be flush with the fenders after these. I’ve also got some 07-09 GT500 stocks that I should be able to fit on there now for funsies.
Haven’t really been able to work on it recently, probably will get to it after finals are over.

When the previous owner of my ’95 put S197 wheels on it, he used 1" spacers too, and I’m pretty pleased with how that turned out. I imagine the measurements are probably the same for your application.

Stickers go on the tool boxes, because I have a problem with toolboxes.

Yup I have a 94 so we have the same measurements everywhere. Did he use bolt-on style spacers or ones that just slide over the wheel studs?

They’re bolt-on, like yours. All studs are still standard-length.

Okay great, haven’t really been able to find too many other people who have used this style, nice to hear some one has had success with them.

Don’t forget to torque them properly! The tricky thing is, you can’t put the car back on the ground to hold it still while you tighten the bolts up.
When I have to remove a brake rotor or something that requires taking the spacers back off, I’ll just zip the nuts off with an impact. But to put them back on, what I do is, just prop a short stick against the driver’s seat and adjust the seat to hold the brakes while I use my torque wrench.

Hmmm good point. These will just be used on the rear so I imagine that should be fine with just the parking brake/in gear. I‘ll try it on the front just to see how the GT500 wheels look.
